As mentioned earlier, The Weeknd’s January 19 Waterloo show sold out in less than two hours. Due to the high demand of the event, The Weeknd will be performing two nights in a row in Waterloo with the new concert date being January 18 at The Turret Nightclub .
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (January 14) at 10AM at “The U-Desk” in Wilfrid-Laurier University. Good luck getting your tickets!
The Weeknd will be performing live in concert at The Turret Nightclub in Waterloo, Ontario on Thursday, January 19th, 2012. Tickets are $20 for Wilfrid Laurier University students and $35 for guests. Guests must be 19+, but WLU students will be admitted regardless of age.
Tickets go on sale today (January 10) at “The U-Desk” in WLU.
Update: Tickets for The Weeknd’s show in both Waterloo (January 19) and Ottawa (January 20) are sold out, with the Waterloo show tickets selling out in just under two hours.
Last year, the biggest names in the music industry performed at Coachella 2011. This year, The Weeknd continues his takeover as he is set to perform at Coachella 2012.

October’s Very Own Oliver El-Khatib announced today on the OVO Blog that the new 2011 OVO Canada Goose Leather Jacket will be released tomorrow (December 28, 2011) at four locations worldwide. The jacket is the second installment of the OVO collaborations with Canada Goose. Last year’s 2010 edition jacket was all black with a retail price of $999.99. The jacket was released in extremely limited quantities and sold out instantly.
This year the leather jacket will come plastered with the signature OVO Owl inside the jacket, white fur along the hood and those signature real gold zippers and buttons. As usual, these jackets will be released in limited quantities at an undisclosed price. Many of the jackets have already been given to OVO and XO members. Shown below is XO’s very own Hyghly Alleyne rocking the gear.
The jackets will be available exclusively at Nomad Toronto, Nepenthes NYC, Nepenthes Tokyo and Nepenthes Osaka starting tomorrow. Good luck getting yours. Line-ups are probably starting now.
