The Weeknd concert tickets for his live tent party show in London, ON are now on sale. Early bird tickets are $25 each plus applicable service charges. Tickets went on sale today (September 13) at 4PM on Ticket Driver, so get them while you can! The show is on Sunday, October 2nd in the Parking Lot of King and Clarence and doors open at 5PM. Special guests and the XO crew will be there.
Tickets are also available at Tequila Rose, D-Tox Clothing (White Oaks Mall) & Grooves Records for $35.
If you didn’t hear it already, The Weeknd performed his first official show yesterday at The Mod Club in downtown Toronto. Everyone from the OVO crew (Niko, Oliver, Noah “40″ Shebib), XO gang (Lamar, Omari, Hyghly, Conor), CP and even ATF came out to show love. For those of you who arrived early enough, you also got a chance to see Abel roll up in a black Maybach before the show and enter through the club’s rear entrance. Drake was also posted at the club, chilling on the upper balcony and having a great time throughout the length of the concert while being super enthusiastic about his protégé’s first ever performance.
The Weeknd came out on stage, dressed in Ransom high-cut boots, black pants and a camo button-up, and killed it for the crowd of 700 that packed the venue last night. If you looked carefully, you would have also noticed that he was rocking some dope XO ear pieces. He opened with High for This and continued by performing all the great hits from House of Balloons along with the singles Rolling Stone and The Birds (Part 1).
Aside from the fantastic show, many industry moguls, including Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy and Young Money CEO Birdman, were rumored to be present. Although this is only speculation, one thing is certain… this show won’t be the last and Thursday is coming sooner than you think…
All in all, it was an eventful night with many familiar faces and although I would love to give you an in-depth written review of the concert, you can find great ones by hitting up Rolling Stonge Magazine or The Toronto Star. The Weeknd will be performing on July 24th at The Mod Club on 722 College Street in Toronto. It’s an all ages event with a 19+ area. Doors open at 8PM and you can pick up your tickets at 431 Richmond Street West (Nomad, Ransom, Stussy) for $20 in advance or at The Mod Club for $25 at the door.
