We got our hands on the booklet included in Take Care’s packaging and have all the details regarding The Weeknd’s contributions to the album. Below are snapshots of Take Care’s digital booklet with credits for each song. The Weeknd is credited under his real name Abel Tesfaye for the songs Shot For Me, Crew Love, Good Ones Go, Practice and The Ride. He also credits Hyghly Alleyne and Lamar Taylor for photography and Martin “Drop” Wong for the design and artwork associated with album.
Drake also mentioned Abel in his “Thank Yous” portion of the booklet and says Abel is the reason why he worked so hard on Take Care. He also thanks Hyghly, Lamar and DropXLife for making the album possible and salutes the whole XO gang.
“To Abel, meeting you changed my life and whether you realize it or not you are responsible for how hard I went to make this album one to remember. You are a gifted soul and you have given the world something extremely special. I am looking forward to the future with you and I am honored to call you a brother… Thank you to Hyghly, Lamar, and Drop for making my whole shit iconic as fuck. To the whole XO gang you awlready know we are a family…OVOXO.”
