“Get ready, Europe. On Saturday, June 2, the Pitchfork stage at Barcelona’s San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival will be headlined by none other than the Weeknd. This marks Abel Tesfaye’s first-ever European show announcement. (He’ll make his long-awaited U.S. debut at Coachella).
The rest of the Pitchfork stage lineup is pretty awesome, too. Joining the Weeknd will be Real Estate, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, AraabMuzik, Atlas Sound, Danny Brown, SBTRKT, Washed Out, Lower Dens, Trash Talk, Iceage, the Field, the War on Drugs, Rustie, and many more. Check out the initial round of acts below.
San Miguel Primavera Sound takes place May 31-June 2 at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. Keep an eye on Primavera’s website tomorrow for an announcement of more than a dozen new names to be added to the festival lineup.”
